Simeulue is a one of a kind travel location. Although we have consistently fun to epic surf nearly year-round, if you ever decide to skip a session and want a change of pace there are plenty of other activities to take advantage of.

Diving

We have some of the healthiest coral reefs in Indonesia. If you like to snorkel or scuba dive, there are plenty of options for you to enjoy the beauty of the reefs. There are numerous spots to snorkel near our resort, several of which are family friendly. If you scuba, we can organize dives for you on the east side of the island where there are many famous dive sites. There are shops in town to purchase snorkeling gear.

Fishing

We have many options to choose from if you decide you want to go fishing. We can get you set up with a hand-line to fish like the locals, or we can organize a boat to take you offshore for some big fish. Whatever your preference is, there are plenty of opportunities to catch the fish of a lifetime.

Waterfall

There is a beautiful waterfall just north of our resort. We will personally take you there to guide you on the hiking trail if you wish to do the full hike. After a 20 minute scooter ride, you will park at a school and walk about 2 minutes before arriving to a beautiful waterfall with natural rock jumps into the pool of water below. There are several other sections of the waterfall further up the trail, which will reveal a beautiful slice of simeulue not seen by many people.

Boat Charter

As the saying goes, “The surf is always better just down the road”. There are several secret spots nearby that can only be accessed by boat. Long mellow left point breaks, grinding right barrels, there are plenty of options nearby. However some of these waves are not for the average surfer, requiring nerves of steel.

If you decide you have had enough of the surf in Simeulue, we can arrange a boat charter to take us to The Northern Banyak Islands where there are several world class surf spots. Depending on what you want, we can organize single day trips as well as multi-day trips.

Yoga

We have many Yoga decks on our property, and understand many people love to practice Yoga for their health. These decks are open 24/7 for your enjoyment. We hope to expand our involvement with Yoga soon and provide an instructor for on-site classes.
